What is the Superior Concrete Wall made from?

Holcim 50MPa high-strength concrete - typically achieving 56MPa in testing - reinforced with ENVIROMESH MP47 synthetic macro-fibre. Holcim mix the fibre into the concrete at their batching plant, so every pour arrives on site with thoroughly and consistently distributed reinforcement.

No. Most competitors use outdated ground-casting methods. We use a Vertical Battery Mould machine producing quality components with tongue-and-groove interlocking rather than fixed joints that may fail over time.

Do Superior Concrete Walls use a continuous footing?

No. We drill pier footings at 3.2-metre centres along the fence line. A galvanised 100mm x 50mm structural steel beam slots into each pier, and a precast concrete column with a 105mm x 55mm internal cavity slides down over the beam. Panels then slide between the columns using a tongue-and-groove system with live joints that accommodate expansion and contraction without cracking.

Yes. Our walls feature the distinctive header beam profile on both sides because components are cast vertically in the Battery Mould. Unlike traditional tilt-up fencing, your neighbours see a clean, profiled finish - not an ugly flat back. For our Stacked Stone product, the stone texture appears on a single side, with the header beam profile on the rear.

We work carefully to preserve existing gardens wherever we can.
